This picture won the World Press Photo of the year Award. It shows a group of young Lebanese driving through a South Beirut neighbourhood devastated by Israeli bombings. The photo which was taken by US photographer Spencer Platt captures the magnititude of complexity of the Lebanese society.
"It has the complexity and contradiction of real life, amidst chaos. This photograph makes you look beyond the obvious," Jury chair said in a statement announcing the winners. The image contrasts a group of friends against a background of the wreckage of a collapsed building. Tellingly, one woman grimaces as she uses her mobile phone to send a text message to a friend, while another, wearing sunglasses, covers her nose with a handkerchief.

The media have a main roll to play for the propaganda machines.
We had seen pictures from Iraqi and Palestinians of dead in a disgusting seen which never been on the front pages or media outlet.
But now its looks there is pushing toward this sort of cruelty of images to serve the purpose of "War on Terrorism"
Back in early days of 2003 invasion of Iraq when Iraqis captured those pilots crew of copter went down and Iraqi TV showed the photos of those US pilots and other US captured it was a Big Mistake its was valuation of Human rights and all sort of these nice Parrots words we keep hearing all the time about our behaviours.
But when these Israeli kids sends gifts of love to Arab kids writing on the rockets their ugly massages none of those who make big noises speaks one words about it.
For Hezbollah have long known how to capture the attention of the media and have used it to their advantage. What is encouraging here is that the forces of liberation have begun to exhibit an equally sophisticated understanding of what it takes to succeed in the modern media age.
